SIP New Features SG v1.58.6.doc
The documents provided
with this release are a complement to the Admin Guide, which you can
find at www.thomsontelecompartner.com
2
Main changes
implemented in SG.071214.1.58.6 (wrt SG 1.57.10)
Functionality added:
2.1-
Support of SIP Message
method (rfc 3428). For more detail see companion document.
2.2-
Capability to enable or
disable the call waiting tone. For more detail see companion document.
2.3-
Added the possibility
to reordering the soft keys. For more detail see companion document.
2.4-
If the phone is
registered on a backup SIP server, at each renewal when expire time ends, it
tries to recover its primary SIP server. If the primary server doesn’t answer, the phone
applies the current reattempt policy.
2.5-
New range for “Register
Frequency”. Now, it is from 1 to 1800 sec.
2.6-
New RTP policy for
early media. You could use APS common file (Earlymediatype) or command (sip set
early_media_type) to configure it.
Earlymediatype=0
à play RTP for early media, switch to
local ringing generation if 180 (no sdp) is received.
Earlymediatype=1 à play RTP for early media, do not switch to local ringing if 180 (no
sdp) is received, and still playing the incoming RTP package.
See companion document.
Fixes provided:
2.7-
Call waiting acoustic
signal can now be disabled using a new flag. But it must not be used in the
last version, since it was producing DSP problems.
2.8-
If Dial Plan is
used, transfer goes now properly.
2.9-
Alert-Info: two or more
instances of this header are now supported.
2.10-
P-Asserted-Identity:
two or more instances of this header is now supported.
2.11-
Call interception
(or Call pick-up): now, if ST2030 receives a NTFY (event:dialog) with only the
"call-id" info, it sends the INVITE to capture the call with a
Replaces header (with only the call-id info).
2.12-
Lost of audio is
fixed. Sometimes ST2030 didn't send RTP packets on an incoming call.
2.13-
Subscribe
mechanism for BLF: now, the phone sends a new Subscription when it receives a
NOTIFY with "Subscription-State: terminated" for the BLF.
2.14-
SIP Stack
behavior-200 OK wrongly accepted when branch parameter is not matching the
request. Now, ignores the pkg.
2.15-
SIP Stack
behavior-200 OK wrongly accepted when CSeq is not matching the request. Now,
ignores the pkg.
2.16-
When ST2030 is
called within a group (so To header is not the phone's number), in some cases
the phone incorrectly fills in Contact header in its replies with the
"To" user part, instead of using its own number.
2.17-
Explicit Backup SIP Server mechanism:
once the phone recovers the primary server after it had been down (so using the
secondary for a while) , it refreshes its registration correctly.
3
Relevant known
limitations in ST2030 SG.071214.1.58.6
3.1-
Explicit Backup SIP
Server: If the BackUp SIP server has a different local port, the phone is using
the Local Port
of the Primary Server, instead.
3.2-
Ensure not to
activate sw_notify_autoprovision flag if the rest of necessary flags to
that purpose are empty.
3.3-
Phonebook local is
deleted when phone is updated from version 1.57 or lower to version 1.58.x.
3.4-
If you update fw from
Web GUI, please make sure to restart the phone after upload the
firmware, then to load the Telephone Configure and restart again. See companion
document ST2030 SIP SW upgrade via Web GUI v8.txt as reference.
3.5-
Error in document ST20xx SIP New Features SG vx.57.pdf :
BLA
configuration: Activation of Sylantro’s BLA flag is only for boss. EA’s have
disabled this flag and have configured the corresponding function keys as BLA
type with boss account.
Remark:
For Sylantro use, it is recommended disable Unregister flag (UnRegister_priorFlgMPx=0 flag in config files) and enable
sip.instance flag (sip_instance_id=1 flag in config files). See document ST20XX
SIP Sylantro SIP-B features.pdf to know how to configure this last parameter.
3.6-
Wrong Call Conference
when Multiextension configured (GenBand). St2030 has an extension configured in
Feature Key 2 (FK2). Then it makes a call from main line and after that
initiates a Conference. The (consultative) call to the 3rd party is made with
From and Contact headers of the extension.
Recommended:
start assigning the extensions from the last FKs available.
3.7-
Sylantro SIP-B: in ACD
mode, return to “On line” state is not always automatic after a call has been
finalized.
3.8-
Sylantro SIP-B:
Centralized conference not finalized
3.9-
Sylantro SIP-B: in BLA
mode, not all supervised extension states are signaled with the corresponding
backlit key.
